St Clair Shores Sentinel reports: Men catch largest muskie ever recorded

St. Clair Shores native Mark Kornosky, now a resident of Fairhaven, and his father, Art Kornosky of Grand Rapids, caught the heaviest recorded muskie from the waters of Lake St. Clair during the Michigan-Ontario Muskie Club's annual fishing tournament on August 11th, 2007. The muskie weighed in at 41 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 54 inches in length with a 23 1/4 girth. Also on team MuskyUgly were Don Taylor of Holly and Mark VanNuck of Fairhaven. Mark VanNuck weighed in a 33.60 pounder, 51 1/8" long with a 21 5/8 girth. Both fish were caught using a Wiley. All fish were released.
